‎Directed by Prey visionary Dan Trachtenberg and animated by Josh Wassung’s renowned studio The Third Floor, Killer of Killers is a bold anthology that transcends time periods and cultures. This savage new chapter brings the deadly alien hunters into visceral conflict with some of Earth’s most ferocious warriors—spanning from feudal Japan to Viking-era Scandinavia to the battlefields of World War II.
‎The second official trailer, released Tuesday, showcases a Viking raider mother leading her young son on a harrowing blood quest for revenge. “Tonight, think of only one thing: killing the monster,” she commands, as the camera reveals a towering Predator poised atop a battle-worn fortress.
‎Other gripping stories teased include a Japanese ninja who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal power struggle, and a WWII fighter pilot encountering a terrifying extraterrestrial force while mid-air. Despite their elite skills and legendary reputations, these warriors are hunted by a common enemy—an apex Predator described by the creators as “the ultimate killer of killers.”
‎Developed in secrecy and first teased at CinemaCon, Predators: Killer of Killers is penned by Micho Robert Rutare from a story co-conceived with Trachtenberg. The animated feature continues the gritty tone set by Prey (2022), which redefined the franchise through its portrayal of a Comanche warrior’s deadly duel with a Predator in 18th-century America.
‎Now, with two Predator entries hitting in one year—Killer of Killers and Badlands, starring Elle Fanning—2025 marks a landmark evolution for the franchise. Fans can expect high-stakes storytelling, bloody action, and a reimagining of what it means to be predator…or prey.
Predators: Killer of Killers debuts June 6 on Disney+. Predator: Badlands hits theaters November 7.
